MY TOP 5 FAVOURITE MOVIES!

Hey my loves,

Everybody loves to snuggle up, with a cup of tea in hand and a box of chocolates to watch their favourite movie. I for one know that I love to do this.

Seeing as in the UK the weather is rainy and it even tried to snow- yes I know SNOW in April?! I thought I would give you my top 5 movies to snuggle up with for these miserable rainy days.

Bridget Jones Diary- The Bridget Jones films are a classic for anyone who likes a good hearted comedy romance film, I for one can’t stop laughing throughout.
I love this film as it is for some people so relatable and so real. Not like your typical fairy-tale story which we all wish we could have!  I am so excited for the new film to come out, it is going to be AMAZING! Definitely check it out if you haven’t already.

The theory of everything- Now, this is one which is definitely going to pull on your heart strings, but it it such a lovely, inspiring film. If you don’t know what it is about, it is a film based on the life of Stephen Hawking. It shows his life before he had Motor Neurone Disease and goes right through his life and how he coped. I love this film because it is really interesting to see how he dealt with his disease at such a young age and it is so inspiring to watch his ability to be a GENIUS throughout. Definitely a tear jerker but it’s worth watching.

Freaky Friday- Where do I start? I love this film so much. It is a Disney classic and one for all the family. I love both the original and the newer version, but the newer one is my fave! It is so funny to watch two people living in the wrong body, it for sure has me laughing in places. I watched this film so much when I was younger that I now know it word for word- oops.

Billy Elliot- This film, I think is my favourite of all time. I recently watched the stage version and it was incredible. (I did a post on this production previously.) This film is for one of an older audience as the language in it is quite bad, with a lot of swear words- so not one for the kiddies. This film is so amazing to watch someone follow their dream even though, at first their family are against it. Again, this does have some tear jerker moments. You all must give it a watch!

BRAVE: This film is one for all the family and it is one which everyone can enjoy. I wasn’t sure about this when I first seen the advertisement but when I sat down and watched it I fell in love. Disney done good. What I love about this film is that it isn’t your typical Disney princess film, in fact it isn’t anything like your prince and princess living happily after film. I don’t want to give too much away, just make sure you go and give it a watch.

And that concludes my top 5 favourite movies, I was going to do top 10 but the post may have been a little too long.

Who knows, if you liked this post maybe I will do a top 5 favourite movies part 2. Let me know in the comments below which are your favourite movies to watch on a rainy day.

See you all soon.

MINI BOOTS IMPULSE HAUL!

 Hey my loves,

I am sure you all know how difficult it is to walk in to Boots or your local drugstores and not buy anything.  I usually am pretty good and can walk away without purchasing a thing-amazing, I know!

However, on a recent trip to Boots I didn’t quite have the willpower to not pick up some new products, but I was good and only picked up a few.

So seeing as I have some new products I thought I would share them with you all.

I am always looking for new foundations to try and am I yet to still find one which I am in LOVE with. I thought I would venture down a different path and try out a No7 foundation.

The foundation which I chose was the No7 airbrush away- I had high hopes for this foundation, unfortunately, I was disappointed.

Airbrush away foundation.

The Airbrush away foundation retails at £16.50 for 30ml. I picked it up as it was a medium coverage foundation which was easily buildable and claimed to have a flawless finish.

I was really disappointed once trying it out as the coverage was not build-able at all and once applied to my skin it just felt greasy and oily.

I also am not a fan of the applicator which is used to release the product. The product comes out by ‘squeezing’ the top so the product goes up the tube and then comes out by releasing the rubber top. (Sorry if that was the worst explanation you have ever had but it is so difficult to explain- just go and check it out.)

Overall, I was very disappointed in this buy and it is currently just left in one of my makeup drawers.

Personally, this wasn’t for me and I wouldn’t recommend it- but who knows you may love it.

The next product which I picked up was my trusty Last Sensational Mascara by Maybelline. I discovered this mascara a couple of months back when Zoella mentioned it on one of her YouTube videos.

The lash sensational mascara is so nice on the lashes, it doesn’t clump and makes your lashes look full and longer- No need for fake ones.

I would highly recommend you purchase this mascara if you are on the hunt for something that makes your eyes pop-I cannot rave about it enough.

Lastly, I picked up a cheeky new lipstick-I wasn’t in need of one but once I had seen this shade I couldn’t leave without it.

Pink fling.

207 Pink fling lipstick.
The lipstick which I picked up was the Maybelline Colour Sensational in the colour pink fling.  This lipstick is so moisturising and the colour is beautiful.

It is a light pink shade- the perfect nude. It is my new fave. I would highly recommend this product.

That is all of the products which I picked up on my mini boots trip. What are your favourite makeup products at the moment? Let me know in the comments below.

See you all soon.

DRIVING LESSONS?!

Hey my loves,

Driving is something I have always wanted to do, it opens the doors for so many opportunities and makes life that little bit easier.

My goal was to have passed my driving test and theory by December and to have my own car, but unfortunately, life just keeps getting in the way.

I am currently not in the job which I want to be in which means I am not earning masses of money. Being able to pay for lessons along with all the other bills and funds I have to already pay out for is really difficult.

I feel like I am stuck in a hole. I am currently looking for a new job but I am very limited to where I can apply for jobs as I don’t drive, so I will have to rely on public transport.

However, if I did start driving now I would be able to pass my test- then I can apply for jobs which are a little further away as I will have my own transport. It’s such a vicious circle.

That’s not the only problem…..

Actually getting me in a car is going to be a big step in itself. I am absolutely petrified at the thought of driving. Me, being in control of a car and humans lives. I just don’t think I will be any good at all, I guess I am just worried about being rubbish and the instructor getting angry. (that won’t happen right?)

So what do I do next?

Do I start lessons now so I will hopefully be able to land myself a better job but as a result just end up being skint? Or do I wait until I have another job and then start my lessons?

I am so beyond confused I just don’t know which path is the best one to take.

Have any of you had any troubles with driving lessons? What did you do? I would love any advice you can give me so please leave me some comments below.

See you all soon.

MEET MY BOYFRIEND!!

Hey my loves,

Now, there is someone very important that I want you all to meet….my boyfriend!

I figured seeing as I would be referring to him a lot in my posts it would only be right for me to introduce to you to him properly.

So everyone, meet Brendan or Bobsy as I call him.

Brendan and I- Scotland Holiday 2014
Brendan and I became a couple back in 2013, and he couldn’t have come into my life at a better time. I was going through a really hard time with my anxiety and Bren came along and he seemed to make it go away, or control it at least.

Brendan is my best friend and we are together every night, which means yes….we do have arguments over who is hogging the duvet ha-ha!

We have a serious but fun loving relationship and we have many adventures and trips which I will post on here so you can follow us around on our exciting days out.

I don’t really know what to say- I feel a bit weird posting this, as I feel like there should be some formal hand shake or something, you can just have a virtual one for now.

Brendan is 24 and a computer genius! He loves all things computers and tech and has his own IT business. I am pretty lucky really because he helps out with all the techy bits which I don’t really understand!

So there we go, Brendan meet my virtual friends- Virtual friends meet Brendan!

Brendan and I Halloween 2014
Woohoo, now we are all aware of who is who, we can carry on as normal.

Thanks for reading, I hope you like him as much as I do!

See you all soon.
