WOULD YOU RATER TAG-BEAUTY ADDITION

Hey my loves, 




I hope you are all well and enjoying the last bit of the summer that we have left. I have done TAG posts before and have loved doing them so I think they may be a regular feature on here maybe even 'TAG TUESDAYS' or something like that- let me know what you think.




I came across the 'Would you rather tag- beauty addition' floating around on YouTube and thought it would be an interesting and funny tag to do because some of the questions are hilarious. So sit back, enjoy and have a little giggle.




1) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lipgloss' or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?

Without a doubt I would rather lose my eye shadows. I wear mascara everyday and only ever really wear eye shadow when I have the time or am going on a night out so, I would rather lose my eye shadows- for sure. 




2) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?

Never be able to cut my hair again! I used to have really long hair and I loved it, so I would rather just let my hair grow and grow- like Rapunzel right?

3) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?

Coral cheek, my skin tone doesn't really suit pink blushers. 




4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?

I guess 50/50 isn't an option- this is so hard. I think I would chose clothes because a girl can never have too many clothes, I love buying clothes.




5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?

I had to think of this one for a long time, I think I have come up with a solution. I would use eyeliner as lipstick because you can get so many different colours of eyeliner and you could use it as a lip liner-is that cheating?




6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

MAC.


7.) Would you rather only use one eye shadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life? 

I would rather use one lip colour for the rest of my life. As you all know I am not a massive lipstick fanatic anyway, so I would be happy with a nude lip everyday of the year. 




8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?

I would rather wear winter clothes in the summer, winter is my favourite time of the year and I love the clothes.




9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?

I would probably say dark, black nails or darker nails pretty much go with whatever you are wearing, whereas brighter nails are harder to work with.

10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?

I would rather give up my favourite lip product, like I said above I am not an avid lipstick lover so I don't think it would bother me.




11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?

I don't think I would mind either, but maybe I would prefer a messy bun a bit more as it is a little less plain than a ponytail, but I wouldn't mind either.




12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?

I would rather never be able to wear lipgloss, I never wear lipgloss anyway only lipstick so I would rather live without lipgloss.




13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?

This is literally so hard, I don't even have an answer- I am such a cheat haha!!




14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?

This isn't hard at all, because of my job I am not really allowed to wear nail polish so I rarely get to wear it. So if I could never wear nail polish again, it wouldn't really phase me.

MY EVERYDAY MAKEUP PRODUCTS

Hey my loves, 




Every girl has that struggle of trying to find an every day makeup routine which is right for them- believe me I know that struggle. 




Recently, I have been loving a few products from different brands and have finally found an everyday makeup routine which I am absolutely loving. The bonus is all of these products are so affordable too, there's nothing worse than forking out on an expensive product to end up hating it! 

My makeup routine is nothing extravagant or out there, on a day to day basis I like to keep it simple with just a foundation, powder, blush, eyeliner, mascara and my eyebrows.




I start off by applying 1 pump of the Revlon colour stay foundation to my face with a beauty blender, this foundation is perfect for day to day use as it can be used for a natural look or you can build it up for a more flawless look. 




I then set my foundation using the Real Techniques powder brush and the Natural collection pressed power in the shade warm. This powder is exclusive to Boots stores and is only £1.99. I have tried many other powders but this is the only one I can seem to get on with and I love it. 




The next step when applying my makeup is the brows, for me the eyebrows perfect your makeup and really help to frame the face. As a teen I over plucked and am now left with not the best of eyebrows so I do everything I can to make them look as best I can. 




To do this I use the Rimmel eyebrow pencil in dark brown. I carefully fill in my eyebrows using the pencil, slightly extending the length-due to sparse hairs from over plucking. 

Once I have got the look I desire, I then go in with the Seventeen eyebrow palette. I use a small amount of the wax over the eyebrow and then top it off with the dark powder, this gives the brow a more natural and less harsh look.

These products are great if you have over plucked in the past and are trying to perfect that natural brow with very little hair, nobody likes to have slugs above their eyes. I would totally recommend these products if you are struggling to get those brows looking good.

After I have done the base of my face I go on to do my eyes, on a daily basis I keep it pretty simple and just use a small amount of liquid eyeliner on the top  of my eyelid. I have always struggled to find the perfect liquid liner that has a easy applicator. 

I have recently discovered the Bourjois liquid eyeliner and I am loving it, this eyeliner is thick black and really makes the eye stand out, the applicator is great too-you should definitely try it out.

I then finish my eye by using one of two mascaras, this will either be the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara or the Maybelline Lash sensational mascara. As you can see there is a running theme here, I love Maybelline mascaras, I think they are one of my favourite of all time. 

I only like to use a small amount of mascara on the lash, this is to create a more natural and simple look for the day time. However, if I am on a night out I may apply a little more to get a fuller looking lash.

Finally, to finish off my makeup I use the Elf contour and Blush Duo. On a daily basis it is very rare I will use the contour side as I feel this is more of a heavy look for a night out, but I use the blusher on a daily basis. 

I love the Elf Blusher as it gives off such great pigmentation and looks really natural on the skin, not at all cakey- it smells divine too!

That is a little look into the products which I use on a daily basis for my daily makeup routine, I would 100% recommend all of these products as they are AMAZING!
