MAC PRO LONGWEAR CONCEALER REVIEW

Hey my loves,
Recently, I have been trying out this concealer by MAC cosmetics. This concealer is the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in shade NC15.
The Pro Longwear Concealer is a lightweight fluid concealer and it is a medium to full coverage and the overall finish of this product is matte.

MAC Cosmetics say "it lasts up to 15 hours." Having used this product for a couple of weeks and in all different weathers (yay for UK weather) I completely agree that this product is long lasting and does the job perfectly.

This particular product retails at £17.50 for a 9 ml bottle, this is slightly pricey for the size of the product but you do only need the smallest amount for your face (1 pump.)

The concealer itself comes in 16 different shades, 8 warm toned shades and 8 cool toned. This is a pro point to this product as I personally find that in cheaper concealers there is not a great range of shades to choose from, but in this product there is a whole range and you are bound to find the right one for you!
This concealer has a creamy liquid texture and is of a matte finish, this is unusual for concealers are most products out there are more of a creamy texture.
The pro longwear concealer is highly mostiurising, however, you do have to work quickly with the product as it does have a matte finish so it is likely to set instantly.
Overall, I would 100% recommend the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer, it is lightweight and has a medium to full coverage. It is the perfect concealer if you are looking to hide blemishes or get rid of those dark under eye circles. This concealer does not crease and the amount of product you get does last a long time. I will definitely be repurchasing this product over and over again!!
See you all soon.

WHAT ARE MY PLANS FOR 2015/2016?

Hey my loves,

Choosing what to do with your life can be a really hard decision to make, for some people they might know exactly what they want to do and know what career path to take but for some it is a much longer and drawn out process and that is the case for me.

I have always wanted to be in a career which helps people and benefits lives. So for 5 years I studied health and social care, the health and social care sector can take you down so many different paths, childcare, teaching, nursing, social work, doctor and so on and so forth.

Currently, I have just got a transfer to a different retail store and that is great, more money, better hours and weekends free…but recently what I asked myself is why am I just settling for whatever is around why am I not pushing myself to do what I really want? So that was the evening I decided to put pen to paper and put my decisions and options to real life…..I hate being an adult.

People will often tell you throughout your life that GCSE’s aren’t important, but that strictly is not true. You DO need GCSE’s and they DO help you with your career and I am finding out the hard way.

When I took my GCSE’s 4/5 years ago, I was having really difficult time, my brother got incredibly sick and my parents and my brother had to be taken to a hospital a fair distance away from me to help him get the treatment he needed and to help him get better. They were away for a couple of months and I had to move in with an auntie….this is a post for another day.

Having that big life event happen right in the middle of my GCSE’s and studies really didn’t help me achieve the grades I needed. As a result of this I got a D in my maths GCSE…..you are probably wandering how this has anything to do with my career? Well, I now have to go to college to do evening classes to re-study and retake my maths GCSE to get a grade C. This is the only way I am able to go to university…without that C I cannot get into Uni.

So what are my plans for 2015/2016? As of September every Monday night I will be attending a 2 hour Maths evening class at college to work towards taking my Maths Exam and getting the C I need for university.

When I achieve this grade, hopefully, sooner rather than later, I will then go on to study a Social Work Degree at University so when I graduate I will be a qualified Social worker and my dream career will be fulfilled.

In the meantime I will still be staying at my current job as it pays the bills and it will give me skills and confidence when I go off to university, eventually. I will be starting my maths classes in September and then after passing that I will be off to Uni.

So I have a couple busy years ahead but it will all be worth it in the end, and yes I will still continue blogging among all this exciting stuff.

The main reason for this post is to show you that no matter how many years have passed since you have studied you can still achieve what you want to if you have the motivation. Who knows in years to come there may be an “I GRADUATED” post!

See you all soon.
