URBAN DECAY NAKED EYE SHADOW PALETTE REVIEW

Hey my loves,

I know what you're all thinking another beauty blog, another Naked eye shadow palette review....I'm a bit late on the Urban Decay palette craze, but I wanted to make sure I got good use out of the product in order to provide you guys with an honest and thorough review. Urban Decay released the NAKED palette in 2010 and it soon became a big hit with all makeup fanatics, due to this craze Urban Decay later came out with the NAKED 2 Palette in 2012 and the NAKED 3 Palette in 2013, all of these palettes have become a huge hit worldwide, being shown on various YouTube channels and blog posts.

Swatches with flash L-R- Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck, Half Baked, Smog, Darkhorse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep, Gunmetal.

The Urban Decay Naked Palette has 12 warm, bronze-hued shades in shimmer matte, satin and sparkle textures and tones, these eye shadows are great for creating either a daytime casual look or for glamming it up in the evening.

Urban Decay says "every shade features Urban Decay's pigment infusion system" - this is stating that the colour holds to the lids and has a great colour payout. Urban Decay is 100% right in that, each shade provides outstanding pigmentation on the lids, and the colour payout is AMAZING!!

Over the year or so I have had this palette I have managed to make use of every shade, in both the daytime and in the evening. I love this palette as I don't have to worry about it coming off my lids on a night out, it sits right in place (even without eye primer) although using a primer will make the colour pop more and make it last that little bit longer. Urban Decay have got it spot on with the right amount of pigmentation and have done an excellent job on ensuring there is as little fall out as possible....nobody wants a blue glittery cheek right?!

If you are looking for a good quality, warm toned, pigmented, little fall out palette, this is the one you are after. Yes, a little pricey at £38 BUT every penny is worth it. Essentially you aren't just paying for the shadows, the packing of this palette is beautiful...the outside is of a dark brown velvet material with NAKED printed in gold, the palette also has a mirror and you are provided with an eye shadow brush (and a pretty nifty one too).

Overall, this palette is definitely one to invest in if you're looking for something you can use for different occasions. This palette has a big thumbs up from me and I will be repurchasing this in the future. I hope this post helps you if you are looking into getting a new eye shadow palette.

See you all soon.
